APPLY TO BECOME A FELLOW
 The application period for 2009-2010 Fellows is now closed

We are now seeking applicants for the inaugural year of the Faiths Act Fellowship. If you are excited by the mission of this initiative and are ready to dedicate nearly a year of your life to it, we want to hear from you!

 To be eligible, you must:

• Be at least 18 and not over 26 years of age by August 1, 2009
• Be a citizen or legal resident of the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada
• Demonstrate strong commitment to the goals of inter-religious cooperation and achieving the MDGs
• Demonstrate strong belief in the power of young people to make a difference
• Be ready to spend 10 full months, from August 2009, through May 2010, serving with this initiative

Application and Selection Process

Applications

Fellowship applications must be received by January 15, 2009, at 5 pm Central Standard Time. Please see http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html to make sure you are taking time differences into account when submitting your application.

We will confirm receipt of your completed application within 48 hours.

Interviews

Top candidates will be selected for an initial interview via telephone by February 15, 2009.

Second interviews will be conducted in person in the UK, US and Canada by April 15, 2009.

Finalists will be notified of their selection by May 1, 2009.

At this time, their official selection will be dependent upon a match with a host organization. We fully expect that all finalists will be matched with a host organization, but in the event that we cannot find a comfortable fit between host organization and Fellow, we will not be able to extend an official offer to the Fellow.

Matching interviews will be arranged between Fellows and the host organizations during the month of May.

Official offers will be extended by June 1, 2009.
