How to Get IFYC on Your Campus

In an era of global religious conflict, idealism has a new face: interfaith youth cooperation. Across the country and the world, young people of different faiths are coming together around the shared value of service.

The hub of this interfaith movement centers on the places that represent the best of American idealism and the power of young people to change the world: college & university campuses.

Interfaith Youth Core works on these campuses to make sure that the increasing interaction of religiously diverse young people leads to positive, cooperative relationships in local communities.

We are equipping a movement of young people who are ready to engage religious diversity in a positive way, confronting negative stereotypes and building strong communities through cooperative service.

Campus Experience
On 9/15, Eboo Patel spoke to an overflowing audience of 600 students, staff, faculty, and community members on “Building the Interfaith Youth Movement on Saint Mary’s College of CA campus”. This event, which launched a year of interfaith cooperation activities culminating in a massive service initiative, was followed by meetings with the President and Provost and Council of Deans, and trainings with students and faculty on interfaith leadership for a campus committed to religious pluralism.
Rabbi Nathan Martin at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor: “[IFYC is] a great resource for students at a variety of campus environments.”
