Erin is a sophomore at Tufts University where she is double majoring in Community Health and International Relations. She was raised in a suburb of Philadelphia as part of a strong Jewish community, yet her parents, who come from two different religious backgrounds themselves, made an effort to expose her and her brother to other traditions. She grew up learning about many religions and cultures from a diverse array of guests in her home. In high school she participated in the pilot year of the Interfaith Center of Philadelphia’s Walking the Walk program, which introduced her to the IFYC and its service-learning model. At Tufts she sat on the steering committee of Pathways, Tufts’ interfaith initiative, and is currently a co-president of the newly formed Multifaith Council (MFC). She is excited to get the MFC off the ground and to help bring Tufts into the IFYC community and the interfaith movement.
