| Farah Qureshi is a senior double majoring in Writing Seminars and Biology, and is also a pre-medical student at Johns Hopkins University. Farah spent the summer applying for medical school. She is a Muslim of Pakistani descent and served as the president of Johns Hopkins’ Muslim Students Association last year. Farah comes from a big family, with three older sisters, an older brother, a younger brother, two brother-in-laws, and two nieces, with about twenty years between her oldest sister and younger brother. Her parents are both physicians and they moved to the United States in 1970 straight out of medical school. They’ve been living in Maryland ever since. Farah is a huge baseball fan, is addicted to high quality film and television, and is also a music fiend. Farah loves learning about different cultures and traditions, meeting new people, and is excited for her year as a IFYC Fellow! |
