Returning from studying political philosophy in Istanbul, Turkey through an international partnership with Al-Quds University, the only Palestinian University in Jerusalem, Jessica is back at Brandeis University for her third year. Jess is studying Psychology and Legal Studies and hopes to work with women’s health organizations and higher education administration in the future. Chairperson of the University’s Judicial Board, Executive Campus Relations Coordinator of Hillel at Brandeis, and an energetic Stepper, Jess is active in a wide array of activities across campus and beyond. Jessica will continue to be a positive part of the campus’ religious dynamics this year as a BUILD (Brandeis University Interfaith Leadership Development) Fellow. Past Coordinator of the “How Can I Find G-D??” speaker series, member of the Religious Pluralism and Spirituality club, facilitator of the “In My Religion” events, and board member of the Brandeis Pluralism Alliance, Jess has been an active supporter and creator of many interfaith experiences since high school and is quite eager to serve as an IFYC Fellow. Inspired and challenged by last year’s national IFYC conference, Jess is looking forward to widening her knowledge of small world religions and gaining a greater understanding of the relationship between the religious, the secular, and those people who are “somewhere in between” throughout the year.
