IFYC has the privilege of partnering with colleges and universities to create Interfaith Studies courses and academic programs. Thanks to generous funding from the Teagle Foundation, in 2014 IFYC was able to distribute Course Sequence Grants to 17 institutions, who then utilized grant funds to create courses and course sequences - including majors, minors, certificates, and concentrations - in Interfaith or Interreligious Studies. Although this grant project has now ended, we are currently administering two more:
- For the second year in a row, IFYC is pleased to offer Curriculum Development Grants of up to $1,000 for faculty at U.S. colleges and universities. The goal of this grant project is to support the development of undergraduate courses that engage the academic field of Interfaith and Interreligious Studies. Grants will be awarded for curricular revision work to be conducted during the summer of 2017. Review the full Request for Proposals to learn more about these grants or to submit an application. All application materials are due on March 31st, 2017.
- Thanks to additional funding from the Teagle Foundation, a second set of course sequence grants, called Interfaith and Pre-Professional Curricular Grants, were awarded to 16 institutions on July 1st, 2016. Review the Request for Proposals to learn more about the objective of these grants.
