Student Interfaith Leadership: Getting Started

This video was produced to illustrate what interfaith leadership can look like for students starting to develop and exercise their skills. Our beginner student video features Steph Holland at Hamlin University. Steph received our Rising Star award in 2019 because of his ability to hit the ground running in organizing interfaith activities for fellow students—he’s always exercising the skills of interfaith leadership. He actively builds relationships with a diverse student body, he notices the religious diversity in a room, and he creates opportunities for meaningful dialogue and community-building among people with diverse beliefs. This video can be used for a variety of educational purposes:

  1. What qualities do you observe in Steph that lend to his ability to lead interfaith activities so effectively on his campus?
